Windham Firefighters Take Survival Training
They were among 120 who took the training in December.

In December, several Windham Firefighters were among One hundred twenty New Hampshire Firefighters that took part in a three day course held at the New Hampshire Fire Academy in Concord aimed at reducing fatalities while battling fires.
“Fireground Survival Training” is a program developed by the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF). It applies lessons from firefighter fatality investigations conducted by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and was developed by subject matter experts from the IAFF, NIOSH and the International Association of Fire Chiefs. The program was conducted in two sessions; December 11 through 13 and December 17 through 19. Attendees represented nearly twenty eight New Hampshire Fire Departments.
Those attending from Windham were; Assistant Fire Chief Edward Morgan, along with Fire Lieutenant Tim Dunn and Firefighters Gary Kurgan, Paul Fisher, Mike Specian, Diana Nault, Gordon Campbell and Pat Robertson
