A Rockingham County Superior Court grand jury has indicted a 20-year-old Windham man in the alleged aggravated felonious sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl on our about May 13.
According to the indictment, Matthew Hand of 20 Londonbridge Road in Windham allegedly committed the assault after grabbing the girl by her wrist and pushing her over a sink.
A second count alleges felonious sexual assault, in that the girl was a "minor child who was thirteen years of age or older and under sixteen years of age..."
The alleged offenses occurred on the property of Baked on Pastries, a business in Windham, according to Windham Police.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt or conviction; rather, it means a grand jury believed there was sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.
