Windham Police Search For Vehicle After Possible Sighting Of Suspect

WINDHAM, NH - Windham residents were on heightened alert Thursday morning when police were made aware of a possible siting of the shooter wanted out of Lewiston, ME.

Windham Police received a phone call at 7:45 a.m. from a concerned citizen reporting that they may have seen an individual matching the description of Robert Card, the person of interest in the Lewiston, Maine incident.

The caller last saw the vehicle as it left the highway at exit 3 in Windham. The vehicle was described as a blue Toyota Camry or Corolla with Maine registration.

Chief Michael Caron said when police ran the registration it came back to a Chevy Suburban. Chief Caron said, "Multiple Law Enforcement agencies are investigating the incident and at this time there is no credible information that the individual is currently in Windham.”

There was also heightened law enforcement presence in Hudson and Tyngsborough, MA Thursday morning due to a possible connection between the suspect and a local business. Schools were provided with additional police presence as well as the area of the possibly connected business.

At this time Robert Card has not been located. Authorities ask that if you have any information, or see the suspect to call 911 or your local police immediately. People are urged not to approach the person of interest who is considered armed and dangerous.
