Windham Resident Among Service Academy Nominees
The local student was named among the 40 New Hampshire residents nominated by Sen. Kelly Ayotte.

A Windham High School student is among the 40 New Hampshire students who have been nominated to attend one of the nation's service academies in 2013.
Christopher Ferri will attend the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, NY. Also named were several students from surrounding towns of Londonderry, Derry, Salem and Nashua.
"It's an honor to nominate outstanding young people to be considered for admission to our nation's service academies," Ayotte said in a statement. "These young men and women have excelled inside and outside the classroom while making valuable contributions to their local communities. They represent some of the very best of New Hampshire and I expect great things from them in the future."
