With Halloween officially one week away, it's a good time to check in for that first look at the forecast to see what the conditions will be for trick-or-treating.
The seven-day forecast currently calls for a chance of showers across New Jersey on Halloween. As of Thursday, the Weather Channel is predicting a 40 percent chance of showers that day, and AccuWeather is predicting the possibility of rain and drizzle.

For now, enjoy the dry conditions. AccuWeather says we can expect several days of clear weather, before precipitation returns with a weekend storm.

Highs could reach the upper 60s Thursday. For Friday, expect clouds and highs in the 60s. Saturday will be clear as well, but rain returns Sunday. Some of the rainfall with the incoming system may be heavy, according to AccuWeather Meteorologist Tyler Roys.
Depending on the exact speed of the storm, the rain could impact several NFL games on Sunday, AccuWeather noted.
