Teens Take Parents' Car For Joyride, Crash Into South Jersey Home: Police
Police said the two girls took their parents' car and later crashed into a South Jersey home.
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two teen girls are accused of taking their parents’ car for a joyride before crashing it into a South Jersey home, according to police.
Around 2:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Washington Township police said they received multiple 911 calls reporting a crash involving a vehicle that struck a condominium, fence, air conditioning units and a curb on Covered Bridge Court in Canterbury Mews.
According to police, officers later located a white SUV with front-end damage parked on Rutland Court.

After several attempts, police said officers were able to wake the homeowner and learn that two 13-year-old girls had taken their parents’ vehicle and struck multiple properties in the process.
The Washington Township Building Inspector responded and deemed the damaged condo structurally safe. No injuries were reported.
