NEW JERSEY — Looking for something to do this weekend in New Jersey? Here are five ideas to get out of the house, as school years are coming to an end and summer approaches.

Walking art tour: This Sunday marks the return of the Artists Studio Tour in Hoboken. This a free, self-guided walking tour of local galleries, artists' studios, murals, and community art displays. A Waterfront Artisan Craft Market is also June 4, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (See more on Patch.)

Celebrate LBGTQ+ pride month: Events are happening all over the state this month for Pride, which was officially designated as June in the U.S. during former president Bill Clinton’s last year in office. Jersey Pride, hailing as the oldest and biggest celebration in the state, is Sunday in Asbury Park from noon-7 p.m.

Portugal Day Parade and more: Since 1978, the Portuguese community has marched down the streets of Elizabeth for the Portugal Day Parade, which is the oldest-running in the state according to the event website. The big parade is Sunday, but there are events going on all weekend and again on June 7 to celebrate Portuguese-American customs and cultural heritage.

Enjoy music, food, and beer at Summerfest: Music, food trucks, a market, and inflatables for the kids are all at Summerfest in the Park on Saturday, with the rain date as Sunday. The 33rd annual event in Point Pleasant kicks off June 2 with bands, food, and adult beverages. (See more on Patch.)

Roll down memory lane: A classic car show returns to Long Valley, and families also have an opportunity to go berry-picking as the show is at Ort Farms. The show is planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday with the strawberry fields open until 5. (See more on Patch.)
