The Best Places To Eat In NJ For 2024: The Ultimate List

NEW JERSEY — We all have a favorite place to eat in New Jersey — and food critics, food magazines and networks, and other groups agree, including some of them in 2024 “best of” lists and awards.

Some of these lists were curated by food writers and editors, while others were compiled using diner reviews. The collections include overall top restaurants, plus some more specific ones: Places for cheap eats, the most romantic spots, best pizzerias, and a list focused on restaurants' wine programs.

We also included the first "Bars of the Year" list from USA Today, which included two Garden State watering holes.
