Big Temperature Drop With Gusty Winds Kicks Off Week In NJ

Skies will clear up Monday morning and things will turn breezy, according to the latest forecast.

A brisk fall day is in store for New Jerseyans Monday, with temperatures dropping 10 to 15 degrees cooler from the day before, according to the latest forecast.

Morning showers will give way to partly sunny skies, National Weather Service forecasters said. A gusty breeze will move in and keep things dry, with gusts of 25 to 35 mph in store, forecasters said. Highs will be in the upper-50s to mid-60s.

While Tuesday will be warmer with afternoon highs near 70, a cold front moving in could bring some showers mostly to North and Central Jersey, forecasters said. Wednesday will see gusts reaching 20 to 30 mph and some showers or sprinkles to far northern areas. Temperatures will also become slightly cooler on Wednesday.
