Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is dropping out of the 2024 U.S. presidential race, according to multiple reports.

NEW JERSEY - Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is dropping out of the 2024 presidential race, according to multiple reports.
The Garden State resident plans to suspend his campaign in a 5 p.m. announcement, sources told NBC News.
"I am very saddened by this. I wanted him to stay in. He did not have discussions with Nikki about this," a Christie fundraiser told the outlet.

The former governor ran for presidential office in 2016 before endorsing Donald Trump, ABC News reported.
