Diddy Asks To Serve Prison Sentence In NJ
Rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs was convicted of prostitution charges after a nearly two-month trial earlier this year.

Sean "Diddy" Combs, sentenced to 50 months in federal prison for his sex crimes conviction, has asked to serve his prison sentence in New Jersey, according to court documents.
In a letter to U.S. District Court Judge Arun Subramanian on Monday, Combs' attorneys asked that he be sent to the federal prison at Fort Dix to serve his sentence.
"In order to address drug abuse issues and to maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts, we request that the Court strongly recommend to the Bureau of Prisons that Mr. Combs be placed at FCI Fort Dix for RDAP purposes and any other available educational and occupational programs," the letter from attorney Teny Geragos said. RDAP stands for Residential Drug Abuse Program.

Prosecutors allege Combs created "a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in" various crimes, such as "sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice."
During the trial prosecutors presented testimony regarding many of the activities referred to as "Freak Offs," which included threesomes, prostitution, sexual urination, masturbation, voyeurism, drugs and copious amounts of baby oil.
Prosecutors allege that the other main accuser, "Jane" was promised that if she did "Freak Offs" she would be able to spend quality time with Combs. The music mogul instead lied to her and forced to take drugs and stay awake for days at a time, they alleged.
