NY Giants Season Preview: Barkley, Jones, And Co. Ready To Take Next Step
While skeptics of last year's resurgence abound, the Giants, eyeing a deep playoff run, know exactly what they're capable of.

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — It's official: the New York Giants rebuild is over.
And while many skeptics are already dubbing last year's astrometric surge from cellar dwellers to the team that played battled the eventual NFC Conference Champions down to the wire in the postseason, the Giants know exactly who they are.
They have one of the best players in the NFL in running back Saquon Barkley, and the years-long plan to build around him is finally paying off.

They have, in the very least, a franchise quarterback in Daniel Jones, who may not be the next Peyton Manning, but could be the next Eli.
And they have a head coach that seems to have figured out the exact right alchemy for this group in Brian Daboll, who helped New York snap a five-year losing streak and playoff drought in 2022, en route to a 9-7-1 regular season and a postseason capped by an upset of the Minnesota Vikings.

They have hteir work cut out for them. Analysts see them repeating last year's record, by and large, at best. It's a tough division, one of the best in the NFL, with the defending conference champs in the Eagles and potential playoff contenders in Dallas, and maybe even Washington.
