NEW JERSEY - New Jersey runs on Dunkin’, but it’ll cost you more or less depending on where you live, according to a Patch analysis of prices from around the state.
Patch tallied the prices of a medium hot coffee and a frosted donut (before taxes) around 90 Dunkin’ locations in New Jersey and found the price for the two items range from $3.94 to $4.98. That’s a difference of about $31 after 30 days, or $380 after a year.
A notice on the coffee chain’s mobile app discloses that prices may vary by location, but a Dunkin’ spokesperson didn’t respond to a Patch request for comment regarding why the same goods are priced differently around the Garden State.

The cheapest medium cup of coffee in the state goes to South Jersey, where you can find a $2.45 cup in Delran (130 N Chester Ave.) and Cinnaminson (1102 N Rt. 130), according to Patch’s analysis. The cheapest donut can be found at the same Delran location, as well as Monroe Township (316 Applegarth Rd.) at $1.39.
And if you want to cool down, go down the shore for the cheapest cold brew in Spring Lake (7 State Rt. 71) or Sea Girt (2204 Rt. 35) at $3.59.

The priciest cup of coffee in the state can be found in Totowa (410 Minnisink Rd.) for $3.09. You won’t have to drive far for the most expensive donut, which can be found in Jersey City (31 Broadway) for $1.99.
Cold brew fans will be shelling out extra in Cherry Hill, where the priciest cup of cold brew at $4.79 can be found at 909 Church Rd.
In towns like Brick, you won’t have to leave municipal limits to see a cup of coffee at Dunkin’ range from $2.69 (9-15 Lanes Mill Rd.) to $2.99 (14 Beaverson Blvd.) and donuts range from $1.59 to $1.89 at the same locations.
