A New Jersey man died after he was struck by a car on a highway Saturday night, according to an NJ.com report.

John Gallic, 62, of Glen Gardner in Hunterdon County, was walking along Highway 31 in the borough just after 10 p.m., state police told the outlet. The driver sustained minor injuries in the incident.

No charges have been filed as of yet, the outlet added. The incident remains under investigation.

Woman, 75, Dragged By Car In Library Parking Lot

A 75-year-old woman was hospitalized after she was hit by a car and dragged 20 feet across the Paramus Public Library parking lot on Saturday afternoon, News12 New Jersey reported.

The victim was rushed to Hackensack University Medical Center where she was treated for a head injury, the outlet added. The driver of the vehicle is a 94-year-old woman.
