Just days before election day, another poll has been released showing where voters stand in the heated New Jersey gubernatorial race.

Democratic candidate Mikie Sherrill is leading Republican Jack Ciattarelli 51 percent over 43 percent, according to a Quinnipiac University New Jersey poll released on Oct. 30.

Breaking down the results of Thursday's poll show Democrats favoring Sherrill with 94 percent versus 1 percent for Cittarelli. While Republicans favored Cittarelli with 93 percent over 4 percent for Sherrill.

The poll also shows Libertarian Party candidate Vic Kaplan and Socialist Worker Party candidate Joanne Kuniansky each received 1 percent of support.

Three percent of likely voters are undecided, and 1 percent refused to respond, according to the poll.

This latest poll shows Sherrill leading even further compared to a Quinnipiac University New Jersey poll on Oct. 15. That previous poll showed Sherrill with 50 percent of voters' support over Cittarelli's 44 percent.

Sherrill, a former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot currently serving as a congress member, is running for governor as a Democrat in New Jersey. She is facing a challenge from Ciattarelli, a former state assemblyman who has gotten an endorsement from President Donald Trump.
