NJ Mascots Visit Capitol For National New Jersey Day
Mascots including the Princeton Tiger and the Rutgers Scarlet Knight were featured in a quirky video celebrating National New Jersey Day.

TRENTON, NJ — State officials celebrated National New Jersey Day last weekend by paying tribute to some of the Garden State's most well-known faces — and it wasn't Bruce Springsteen or Jon Bon Jovi.
In a video posted on the state of New Jersey's social media pages, state officials rounded up who they called "the best of the best" when it comes to the Garden State. After a brief nod to celebrities like Springsteen, Danny DeVito, and the Jonas Brothers, the video reveals a lineup of popular New Jersey sports mascots.
"As we brainstormed what it truly means to be a New Jerseyan — the grit, the attitude, the passion — we couldn't think of a better group to represent us than the mascots that call the Garden State home," the video's narrator says.
