NJ Influencer To Compete On Season 34 Of 'Dancing With The Stars'

The social media influencer will join Robert Irwin on the show's upcoming season.

NEW JERSEY — Alix Earle, a New Jersey native and social media influencer with 7.5 million TikTok followers, will compete in the upcoming 34th season of "Dancing With The Stars."

Earle, who was born in Monmouth County and attended Red Bank Catholic High School, made the announcement during a Thursday appearance on "Good Morning America."

"I've always been a fan of 'Dancing With The Stars,'" Earle told GMA hosts Lara Spencer and Michael Strahan. "I'm ready to challenge myself and I think it's going to be a lot of fun."

Earle rose to social media fame on TikTok and Instagram for her "Get Ready With Me" videos. Her content includes makeup routines, fashion and lifestyle tips. She's also the host of the "Hot Mess" podcast, where she discusses mental health and more.

Earle earned a place on Forbes' Fashion 50 list in 2023. The following year, she was also named to Forbes' Top Creators list and its 30 Under 30 - Social Media list. Earle was featured in Rolling Stone's annual Creators issue and named Allure's Beauty Creator of 2024.

In 2024, Earle appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

According to a report by People, the influencer was in attendance when "Dancing With The Stars" taped its milestone 500th episode last November.

In a video posted before the show, she told her TikTok followers that she was "so excited" to be in the audience because she is "such a fan of the show."

"I have been watching it every week religiously. And I heard that going to the show live is really fun," she said, adding that she was attending the taping with "all my family members."

Earle is the second cast member to be announced for the upcoming "Dancing With The Stars" season. Robert Irwin was announced as the first competitor at Disney Entertainment Television's Get Real Event in April.
