Snow, Rain Forecast For NJ Tuesday: See Timing
A wintry mix could coat the northwestern corner of the state while the rest gets rain after another chilly day, forecasters say.
Some parts of New Jersey could see wet snow Tuesday night following another chilly November day, according to the latest forecast.
Sussex County will be the focus of this taste of winter, with snow accumulation ranging from a coating up to 1 inch, National Weather Service forecasters said.
Everywhere else in the Garden State is forecast to get "chilly rain," according to the National Weather Service.

"The precipitation intensity may be rather light initially and therefore may not significantly cool the column, however there is the potential for some snow to mix in with the rain or even a period of light snow especially toward the Poconos to Sussex County, New Jersey," the National Weather Service said.
Overall rain accumulations will be light.

Wednesday morning will start with some rain but will dry out quickly.
The rest of the week will remain chilly, with more light rain in store. Friday will be the exception as temperatures briefly warm up before another cold front moves in that night.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 48.
Central Jersey
Tuesday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 47. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
