These 4 NJ Neighborhoods Among Most Creative In 2025

A recent survey asked people to identify the most exciting creative neighborhoods in the United States. These four in NJ made the list.

NEW JERSEY — From converted warehouses to historic districts, artists and innovators across the United States are building creative communities in places that offer both inspiration and affordability.

Four of those places are in New Jersey, according to a new survey.

Brotherly Love Real Estate recently surveyed 3,021 people to help the company determine America’s most exciting creative neighborhoods. The result? Creativity is not limited by geography, researchers wrote.

"Whether we’re talking about the vibrant arts community of Downtown Knoxville... or the scenic beauty of Whitefish, Montana, these neighborhoods all demonstrate that artistry can thrive in any setting," researchers said. "As more and more people seek communities that embrace artistic expression, these creative neighborhoods continue to grow as hubs for collaboration and individuality."

In New Jersey, the following neighborhoods and communities made the list:

  1. Downtown Arts District, Las Vegas, Nevada
  2. Hilo, Big Island, Hawaii
  3. Savannah Historic District, Savannah, Georgia
  4. Beacon, New York
  5. Phoenixville, Pennsylvania
  6. Deep Ellum, Dallas, Texas
  7. Downcity, Providence, Rhode Island
  8. Downtown Knoxville, Knoxville, Tennessee
  9. Greenville Downtown, Greenville, South Carolina
  10. Warehouse Arts District, St. Petersburg, Florida
