Paul Boahene, District Support Pharmacist at the CVS Pharmacy located at 4362 Route 130 North in Willingboro, was awarded a 2025 National Paragon Award from CVS Health. The annual Paragon Awards recognize the best of the best among CVS Health’s colleagues and are among the highest honors awarded by the company.

Paragon Award recipients are chosen for their commitment to company values and for their dedication to fulfilling CVS Health’s purpose: bringing our heart to every moment of your health. At the same time, they have demonstrated their ability to deliver outstanding business results, lead their teams to excellence, and make substantial contributions to the communities where they live and work. They are considered role models for the entire company.

Boahene is a well-respected, high-performing District Support Pharmacist who recently became the Pharmacist-in-Charge at a CVS Pharmacy location in Trenton, an area that faces significant health literacy challenges. In his new role, Paul took the initiative to help educate and empower patients – encouraging them to take ownership of their health and building trust throughout his community.

Boahene leads with heart inside and outside of the pharmacy. He has also adopted two children from Ghana after their parents tragically passed away, and he has supported them as they pursue medical school and a master’s degree, respectively.

“Paul is an exemplary colleague who has shown unwavering dedication to not only his team and patients, but also his broader community,” said Danielle Amoroso, District Leader for CVS Pharmacy. “He represents what it means to put people first in both his professional and personal lives, and he exudes a warm, positive energy that’s infectious among his colleagues and patients. We are honored to have him on our team.”

Every year, CVS Health honors Paragon Award winners from its thousands of store managers, pharmacists, nurse practitioners and pharmacy benefits management employees. The winners were nominated by their supervisors and eventually voted on by CVS Health’s senior leaders. The 2025 Retail Paragon Award winners are being recognized in August as part of the company’s annual Retail Leadership Experience event activities.
