ASBURY PARK – "COP" is looking for some Asbury Park residents to join a group of concerned citizens.

COP (Citizens on Patrol) is a group of Asbury Park residents and workers who "are the eyes and ears of Asbury Park," assisting the police.

The group patrols in its COP units from two to four hours a day or night.

"You will be totally trained during a five week, one night a week class, you will be given a uniform for patrol and one for dress, then you will always go out on patrol with another member of COP," the group said.
