DoorDash Donates To Monmouth County Boys and Girls Club

Here's how the Monmouth County Boys and Girls Club, which has locations in Asbury Park and Red Bank, will use the money:

ASBURY PARK, NJ — This fall, DoorDash donated $17,000 in digital gift cards to 17 Boys & Girls Clubs across the state of New Jersey.

And the Monmouth County Boys and Girls Club, which has locations in Asbury Park and Red Bank, received some of that donation.

In their two Monmouth County locations, the money will be spent on:

  • Planning and launching a Counselor in Training (CIT) program
  • Bringing new activities to camp
  • Providing mentorship to campers

In other locations, the gift cards can be used for meals and to buy essentials to help the Boys & Girls Club run their programs.

The Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey serves more than 55,000 youth ages 5-18 across the Garden State.
