ASBURY PARK, NJ — Heirloom at The St. Laurent in Asbury Park will be re-branded and re-named Judy & Harry's, with an entire menu revamp that will now serve Italian fare.

This was announced Friday on the restaurant's Instagram page by owners David Viana and his wife, Neilly Robinson.

Heirloom is the restaurant inside The St. Laurent, a boutique inn on 7th Avenue in Asbury Park, in a residential part of town. The Jersey Shore restaurant power couple also own Heirloom Kitchen on Rt. 516 in Old Bridge (a longstanding locals' favorite, which Robinson first opened with her mother, Judy) and critically acclaimed Lita, the Portuguese/Spanish restaurant on Rt. 34 in Aberdeen, plus La Otra, the cocktail bar next to Lita (in what used to be Eli's Bagels).

Now, in the new year, Heirloom at The St. Laurent is apparently in need of a makeover:

"Big Announcement Alert!," the couple wrote on Instagram. "Neilly & David here to kick off 2025 with some exciting news: we are resetting the table at The St. Laurent with a new restaurant & bar concept."

"We are proud and excited to introduce you to Judy & Harry’s, bringing you Italian classics with a whimsical, international flair," they continued. "We will feature a mainstay à la carte menu with everything from various large dishes to shareable small plates. Our hope is that this becomes your new neighborhood go to — a place to gather on a Wednesday night with friends and family, a place for first dates, and for celebrations of all kinds."

The restaurant is named for Robinson's parents, Judy and Harry Rosenblum.

"Cheers to The St. Laurent and our insanely talented team, without either none of this would be possible," they wrote.

Viana is the executive chef at Lita, and the restaurant serves the food of his native Portugal. Lita was named a 2024 James Beard semifinalist. Lita was also named to Esquire's list of the "Best New Restaurants in America, 2023," and was the only restaurant in New Jersey to make that list.

Heirloom Kitchen, which also offers cooking classes, was named one of USA Today's best restaurants in 2024.
