Kimchi Craving? Try Asbury Park’s Newest Korean Eatery
Kimchi Mama recently relocated from North Jersey to the Jersey Shore.
ASBURY PARK, NJ - If you’re craving kimchi, kko kko bop or even kimchi French fries, look no further than Asbury Park’s newest Korean staple.
Kimchi Mama, a former Fair Lawn takeout and delivery restaurant, has relocated to Asbury Park. The restaurant also had Palisades Park and West Caldwell locations, both of which have closed.
The family-owned eatery opened in the summer of 2016 with menu offerings such as Korean chicken wings and noodles, touting “delicious Korean food for easy and accessible takeout, delivery, and catering.”

The Asbury Park location (504 Main St.) opened on March 23 and offers sit-down seating as well as an expanded menu, according to a post from the owners on Instagram.

“We want to thank our loyal customers who supported us during some of the toughest years we’ve faced as a family business,” the eatery wrote on Instagram. “It is because of your support we were able to keep our doors open during the worst of the pandemic. It also allowed us to finally find an appropriate space to reach our dream of having a dine-in restaurant.
“We will be forever grateful to our Fair Lawn family and hope you will come visit us at our new location in Asbury Park!”
Kimchi Mama is open Mondays to Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 12 noon to 8 p.m. Call (732) 361-0756 for more information.
