Library Board Finds Blank Checks, Questions Spending: Report
The library board ordered the destruction of 20 blank checks during a special meeting on Wednesday.

ASBURY PARK, NJ – The Asbury Park Library’s Board of Trustees has alleged that the library’s director, Robert Stewart, uses blank checks to make unauthorized purchases, according to the Asbury Park Press.
During a special meeting held on Wednesday, the library board order that the 20 blank checks be destroyed after they learned that Stewart used one to purchase a storage unit after being told not to by the board.
