Asbury Park Microbrewery Coming In Zoning Change
This ordinance would allow the city to change the city's Central Business District redevelopment plan.

ASBURY PARK, NJ – The Asbury Park City Council will be introducing an ordinance that would allow the city to amend its central business district redevelopment plan to allow for microbreweries to be built on Cookman Avenue.
According to the ordinance, the council wants to make the amendment so that a microbrewery can open up on the 2404 block of Cookman Avenue between Bond Street and Press Plaza as it would “enhance the vision of the CBD Redevelopment Plan.”
The city council will also pass a resolution to enter into a $17,500.00.emergency professional service contract with DiSimone Consulting Engineers for assistance and guidance on the structural evaluations being done at Convention Hall and the Munroe Towers Apartments.

Wednesday’s meeting is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. at the municipal building located on Main Street.
