The former Van Halen frontman, who recently returned from retirement, will play an evening show on Ocean Avenue with tickets already on sale through presale and public sale options.

• Ocean Grove Beaches Must Open Sunday Mornings (thecoaster.net) — Beachgoers in Asbury Park should know that state officials have reaffirmed Ocean Grove’s beaches must stay open on Sunday mornings, strengthening public shoreline access along this stretch of the Jersey Shore. The ruling cites public funding and prior permit conditions, and notes that people previously could only reach the sand by walking in from Asbury Park or Bradley Beach during the disputed closures.

Speaking as Asbury Park’s representative, he stresses honoring fallen officers, including New Jersey native Brian Sicknick, and is pressing House leaders to finally install a long-delayed memorial plaque at the Capitol.
