ASBURY PARK, NJ – The Asbury Park city council will hold a public hearing on two ordinances regarding the use and sale of marijuana in the borough during Wednesday night council meeting.
The first ordinance would ban all smoking, including marijuana, on all city beaches and the boardwalk.
The other ordinance is similar to the one passed in Wall Township and soon to be passed in Belmar, which would ban the sale of marijuana in the city and the cultivation, wholesaling, and distribution of cannabis in the city for the next five years.
