ASBURY PARK – Prosecutors say they are investigating after one person was shot in Asbury Park on Sunday. The shooting happened on Sunday on the 1500 block of Bangs Avenue, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. when law enforcement officers encountered the victim, according to the MCPO. The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the MCPO. This is a developing story. Patch will have more information as it comes in.
