BRADLEY BEACH, NJ - Part of Bradley Beach is closed due to several sinkholes in the sand, police and the mayor said.

“Please be advised there is a large sink hole near the waterline at the Ocean Park Avenue beach,” Bradley Beach police wrote in a social media statement last Thursday. “The area is fenced off and we ask the public to remain clear for safety reasons.”

Mayor Larry Fox reiterated the closures in a newsletter, citing breaches in an outflow pipe near the beachfront.
