2 Large COVID Vaccine Sites Open In Monmouth County This Week

The Visiting Nurses Association of Central Jersey has opened up vaccine locations in anticipation of a vaccine rush.

ASBURY PARK, NJ – In anticipation of high demand for COVID-19 vaccinations as deadlines for mandates instituted by employers are starting to near along with the coming recommendation for booster shots for people 65 and older or with health problems, the Visiting Nurses Association of Central Jersey Community Health Center (VNACJ-CHC) has moved its vaccine services to larger locations starting this week.

In Asbury Park, you can get the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines at the Second Baptist Church on 124 Atkins Avenue Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and all three vaccines are also available every Tuesday and Thursday at the Adam Bucky James Community Center on 231 Wilbur Ray Ave in Long Branch.

The Pfizer and Modera vaccines are being offered at St. Anthony of Padua’s Parish Gym on 27 Herbert Street in Red Bank Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m

The VNACJ-CHC also offers all three vaccines at its Keyport Primary Care Center on 35 Broad Street in Keyport and the Freehold Family Health Center, 597 Park Ave, Freehold, NJ 07728, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Appointments are not necessary, but the VNACJ-CHC asks that you pre-register, which can be done here.
