1. More Ex-Prison Inmates Pardoned In New Jersey (See Governor's Latest List) (patch.com) — A New Jersey clemency round includes a pardon for Vincent McDaniel, who helped pass key Atlantic City “Ban the Box” and housing-reform ordinances and now works for the city’s anti-violence program. Gov. Phil Murphy granted 15 pardons and several commutations to people with long records of staying out of trouble, as statewide violent crime continues to decline.
   

2. NJ-CRC Notes THC Inflation/Mold Issues, Fines Companies (headynj.com) — State cannabis regulators have fined High Rollers dispensary and lounge in Atlantic City for serving food and drinks at its consumption lounge, which is currently prohibited under New Jersey law. The commission also penalized several other dispensaries around the state for ID, advertising, and on-site consumption violations while continuing an investigation into questionable THC testing and mold issues to protect consumer safety.
   

3. The Weeknd Forms $1 Billion Venture With Lyric Capital (okayplayer.com) — Atlantic City briefly enters the spotlight here as the backdrop for a recent REFORM Alliance Casino Night where The Weeknd performed, but the real news is his new $1 billion venture with Lyric Capital. The deal lets him keep creative control and ownership stakes in his catalog while leveraging major financing, signaling a new model for how superstar artists manage their music rights.
   

4. Atlantic City Man Arrested Following String of Vehicle and Office Burglaries in Stafford Township (tapinto.net) — An Atlantic City man has been arrested after Stafford Township police say he tried to break into vehicles near local businesses and was later linked to a medical office burglary. Officers report recovering stolen property and charging him with multiple offenses, with the suspect now held in Ocean County Jail awaiting a detention hearing.
