1 Pedestrian Critical, Another Injured In Atlantic County Crash
Two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle while crossing an Atlantic County roadway on Friday night, authorities said.
ABSECON, NJ - Two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle while crossing an Atlantic County roadway on Friday night, authorities said.
The individuals were injured just before 11 p.m. on Friday after being struck by a driver in the westbound lanes of Route 30 (Absecon Boulevard) by the Royal Lodge, Absecon police said.
An initial investigation found that a 2019 Subaru Outback, operated by Alan Sitnik, 74, of Manahawkin, was traveling west on Route 30 when his vehicle struck the pair.

It was not immediately clear why the two pedestrians were in the roadway.
The investigation is ongoing.
