Archie Davies Of Eatontown Dies At 72

Archie Davies passed away March 18, 2017 at his home in Eatontown. He was 72.

Born in Neptune, Archie was the owner and operator of Archie's Bar, Cookman Avenue, Asbury Park for 20 years. After his retirement, Archie worked at Foodtown in West End and A & P in Little Silver until 2000.

Archie enjoyed many outdoor activities. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Archie is survived by his devoted husband, Joseph Merillo Davies, his brother, Delbert H. Davies, his sister, Loretto Petro, his nieces, Jennifer and Lorianne Petro and his nephew, Michael Petero.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 10:30 until the 12 p.m. Memorial Service in Buckley Funeral Home, 509 Second Avenue, Asbury Park. Interment will be private.
