Barnegat House Partially Collapses During Blaze While Firefighters Are Inside
Fire broke out late Tuesday night on Bengal Boulevard, no one injured, fire company says.

No one was injured when a structural fire broke out at Bengal Boulevard and a section of the house collapsed on Monday night, according to the Barnegat Volunteer Fire Department's Facebook page.
The fire company responded at 7:42 p.m. on Feb. 27. When they arrived, they found a working fire venting out the roof.
Neighbors first told police the house was vacant, but said it was possible someone had been staying there.

So crews were sent inside to look for any possible victims.
"While the crews were inside, there was a report of a partial collapse and command called for a mayday till all members were accounted for," according to the post.

Fortunately, everyone was safe and accounted for and the mayday was cancelled.
The fire was extinguished after 8:15 p.m. and crews overhauled the fire. The scene was turned over to the state and local fire marshals.
Units that responded were the Stafford Township Volunteer Fire Company #1 Barnegat First Aid Squad, Inc. Waretown Volunteer Fire Company, Barnegat Ladies Auxiliary and Stafford Township Emergency Medical Services.
