Only 25 slots open for the program, so register as soon as possible.

BARNEGAT TOWNSHIP, NJ - Incoming fifth and sixth graders in Barnegat who want to participate in the police department's Junior Police Academy have until Monday, June 18 to register for the program.

This is no "boot camp," but a chance for students to learn what it's like to be a police officer and to give them a chance to interact with Barnegat police officers, according to the police department's Facebook page.

Applications can be downloaded from the Barnegat Police Department website via the following link.http://barnegatpolice.com/…/…/05/2018-JrPoliceAcademyApp.pdf.
