Barnegat Police: Small Pin Found In Halloween Candy Bar

Barnegat police are asking parents to check their children's Halloween candy after a small pin was found in a Kit Kat bar that was not sealed, police said in a Nixle alert.

"The wrapper was allegedly compromised," the alert states. "The candy was not sealed. We have received no other reports."

A resident reported that the pin was discovered in a candy bar handed out in the Tall Timbers development according to the alert.
