Barnegat Township Committee Candidates Forum On Tap For Wednesday Night
Event will be held at the Barnegat Community Center
For the first time in several years, Barnegat will once again have a candidates forum for all candidates in a townwide-accessible venue - not just in the selected private retirement communities, said Marianne Clemente, chairperson of the local Democratic municipal committee.
The forum will start at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at the Barnegat Community/Recreation Center behind the police station, she said.
"Please distribute this information to your friends and family in Barnegat, put it on your social media, circulate in your churches, ask the principals in your children's schools to send out a notice home to parents about this forum," Clemente said. "Please do everything you can to get the word out. It's about time Barnegat residents hear the truth about how our government is run and how it can be run."
