Consultant Charged With Business Deception: Little Egg Harbor PD

A Pennsylvania man is facing charges after receiving money while working in a service business and not delivering the products, police said.

LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ — A Pennsylvania man is facing charges after receiving money while working in a service business and never delivering the products to his clients, police said.

William T. Newmiller Jr., 56, of Havertown, Pennsylvania, was charged with theft and failure to make required disposition, according to Little Egg Harbor police.

Newmiller represented himself as a consultant with Kitchen Bar Consulting selling restaurant, bar and kitchen equipment throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

During the investigation, Newmiller received payment from a local business and failed to deliver promised merchandise, police said.

Newmiller also had several other warrants for his arrest out of municipalities in Cape May, Gloucester, Camden and Monmouth counties in New Jersey and Delaware County in Pennsylvania for similar charges.

Newmiller Jr. was located and arrested by Ship Bottom Police Department without incident on Nov. 22. He was additionally charged with deceptive business practices, displaying / possessing false government documents and theft of mislaid property.

Newmiller was lodged in the Ocean County Jail and has since been released.
