Egg Harbor Man Found With Thousands Of Child Pornography Images
Matthew Wolny had illegal images on multiple devices, U.S. Attorney's Office says

TRENTON - An Egg Harbor Township man has been charged with receiving thousands of images and videos of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said.
Matthew Wolny, 40, was arrested today and charged by complaint with two counts of receiving child pornography. Wolny was expected to appear this afternoon before U.S. Magistrate Judge Lois H. Goodman in Trenton federal court.
Authorities in September of 2013 found that Wolny, who lived in Jackson at the time, used peer to peer file sharing computer software to download video files with images of child sexual abuse from the internet, he said.

When law enforcement officers searched Wolny's Jackson home and car, they seized a number of electronic devices with roughly 2,000 images and 1,600 videos of suspected child pornography, Carpenito said.
Each charge of receiving child pornography carries a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison, a maximum potential penalty of 20 years in prison, and a $250,000 fine, he said.

He also thanked the Little Egg Harbor Police Department, under the direction of Chief Richard J. Buzby Jr, for its assistance.
