Why are you seeking elective office?
I believe a citizen should give back to their town with Public Service. I believe I could be a very effective representative for all the people of Barnegat.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
There are 2 issues for me. First...Communication and Transparency. I believe that the Township Committee must aggressively reach out to the residents of Barnegat to engage them in the governance of their Town. Second...I am concerned about the surge of over development in Barnegat and so are most of the folks I speak with. We must listen to the people of Barnegat...what is their vision for future development in Barnegat??
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Experience.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
Not enough engagement with all the residents of Barnegat.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
My business & civic experience will help me serve the people of Barnegat effectively.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
Speak less...listen more...honesty above all.
