Little Egg Police Charge Women With Theft Of Nearly $400 Of Food

Police credit public for helping to identify suspects

LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ - Thanks to tips from Facebook followers, Little Egg Harbor police were able to identify and charge two women with the theft of nearly $400 in groceries, according to the department's Facebook page.

Police posted photos of the women several days ago and asked for help to identify the women, who were suspects in a theft. Both women were charged with theft. The theft consisted of $399.59 worth of various grocery goods, the post said.

The women were thought to have been from the North Jersey/New York City area, Police have not released their names yet.
