Man Who Shoplifted Fit Bits At Stafford Target Store Arrested Again At Same Store For Doing The Same Thing Again

Stafford Township police were investigating a Jan. 10 shoplifting incident at the Target store yesterday when they arrested a man for shoplifting Fit Bits, the same items he was caught on surveillance footage shoplifting earlier this week, Lt. James Vaughn said.

Luna spotted Alan Hill, 28, Forked River and his girlfriend MaryAnn Garcia, 36, Manahawkin, leaving the store with more shoplifted Fit Bits. An investigation confirmed that Hill did not purchase the itesm.

Hill and Garcia were both placed under arrest and transported to the Stafford Township Police Department. Hill was charged with two counts of third degree shoplifting and lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending future court proceeding. Garcia was charged with one count of third degree receiving stolen property and released pending future court proceedings.
