Only Minor Injuries Reported In Five-Vehicle Crash in Stafford Involving Tractor Trailer
One driver issued summonses for careless driving, police say

Only two people received minor injuries in a five-vehicle crash near Marsha Drive in Manahawkin recently, according to .
Police responded to the crash at 12:30 p.m. on March 6.
Preliminary investigation revealed the tractor trailer, driven by Joseph P. McGinley, 37, of Coatesville, PA was traveling west on Route 72 approaching Marsha Drive. As the tractor trailer approached Marsha Drive, it struck a silver-colored Nissan sedan being driven by Denise Brown, 64, Manahawkin, a white colored Honda CRV driven by Charity Quinn, 70, Radnor, PA, and a silver-colored Ford Focus driven by Michael Kirk, 37, Forked River. The Ford Focus then struck a white truck driven by Robert Esterlund of Bellmawr.

Baker, Quinn and Kirk all suffered minor injuries and were taken to Southern Ocean County Medical Center. McGinley and Esterlund were uninjured.
McGinley received a summon for careless driving. This matter is pending a future court date in Stafford Township Municipal Court.

Traffic on Route 72 was stopped and rerouted around the scene for approximately an hour.
