Save A Life - Adopt An Adult Cat This Weekend, Fees Will Be Waived

Shelter is dangerously overcrowded, please help if you can.

The Burlington County Animal Shelter needs your help. Now.

The Westampton-based shelter is "dangerously" overcrowded with cats. Shelter officials and the Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter are offering cats free of charge to approved adopters.

The pets have been microchipped, spayed or neutered, given the proper vaccines and come with 30 days of medical insurance, according to the Friends website.

The offer runs through Saturday and Sunday this weekend. The shelter is open from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on both days.
