Stafford Man Falls 12 Feet Through Ceiling, Hits Concrete Floor: Cops

An Atlantic Avenue man was storing items in his attic when he fell through the ceiling of a detached garage and landed on a concrete garage floor, Stafford Patrolman Keith Oler said.police said.

Stafford police responded to the home in the Ocean Acres section of the township at 5:59 pm. on Sunday on a report of a fall victim, he said.

The man in his early 40s sustained a laceration to the back of his head and complained of back pain. A witness said he briefly lost consciousness as a result of the fall, Oler said.

MONOC paramedics and members of the Stafford First Aid Squad responded and took the man to Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin. He was then flown to the Atlantic City Trauma Center, where his condition is unknown at this time.
