Stafford Township Republicans Locked In Primary Battle
Mayor John Spodofora and his Township Council candidates are being challenged by a rival Republican slate.

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ - Although no Democrats have filed to run for the mayoral and Township Council seats this year, two slates of Republican candidates are fighting for their party's nomination in the June primary election.
Longtime incumbent Republican Mayor John R. Spodofora, 22 Division Street, is running for another term. He is being challenged by Gregory E. Myhre, 933 Bonita Lane.
Spodofora is running on the Regular Republican ticket with a full slate of candidates for the six available Township Council seats.

“Our team brings a broad range of experience to tackle new issues that Stafford faces with the onslaught of regulations raining down from the Murphy administration," he said.
