Stafford's McKinley Avenue School To Remain Closed Due To Mold
Students will instead attend the Stafford Intermediate School for the time being

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ - The McKinley Avenue Elementary School will be closed for an undetermined period of time due to continuing mold problems in the school, Superintendent George J. Chidiac said.
McKinley students will instead attend school at the Stafford Intermediate School for the time being. The bus schedules will remain the same. Parents can drop off or pick up their children at the Intermediate School, he said.
Chidiac apologized for the inconvenience and thanked parents for their patience and understanding.

"Our students and staff's well-being is our first priority," he said in a message on the district website. "Your child's education will not be compromised. The Board of Education and administration will be working to ensure a great start to the school year.
The open houses at the schools will be held on Sept. 4. McKinley students and parents can attend the school's open house from 1:15 to 2:15 today.

The first day of school is Sept. 5.
