Students will place the flags on the high school front lawn on Thursday, Memorial Day Ceremony slated for Friday

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ Southern Regional High School students will begin their annual tribute to women and men who have lost their lives in military service on Thursday.
"Our annual flag display and ceremony is a fantastic tribute to the women and men who have lost their lives in Afghanistan and Iraq," said district spokesperson Jean Piscopo. "On Thursday, the ROTC cadets and my English classes will 'plant' one flag for each of the service members who have lost their lives."
The Southern Regional display is easily seen from Route 9.
