Basking Ridge Natives Receive Diplomas from Berkeley College
The 2015 graduating class at Berkeley College included more than 200 international students and 120 military and veteran graduates.

As school years at colleges across the nation begin coming to an end, a pair of Basking Ridge natives recently graduated from Berkeley College during the college’s commencement ceremony at the Prudential Center in Newark.
The 2015 graduating class at Berkeley College, which has has six New Jersey locations and three New York State locations, saw 2,300 graduates, of which included more than 200 international students and 120 military and veteran graduates, according to the college.
- Zarina Jasani received an Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration – Management
- Cathlene Mackie graduated with honors, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and Management
“All of us at Berkeley are proud to celebrate this momentous occasion with you,” Dario A. Cortes, President of Berkeley College, said in a release. “This day represents a culmination of years of hard work and determination, but it is just the beginning. It takes knowledge, passion and persistence to succeed. Believe in yourself and reach higher.”

Berkeley College has six New Jersey locations in Clifton, Dover, Newark, Paramus, Woodbridge and Woodland Park. The three New York State locations are located in Midtown Manhattan, Brooklyn and White Plains.
